An End To The Corruption

It seems that the dream to see a corruption free India would remain a dream, atleast till the time UPA is in the power or we can say till the time this country is being ruled by Gandhi Family.

In her latest statement Mrs. Sonia Gandhi has stated that the nation will have to accept the government's draft on Lokpal and there will be no further compromise on the part of the UPA government. She has also described the government's version of Lokpal bill as a path breaking legislation.

Keeping the CBI under the administrative control of the government and controlling all the postings and important appointments of CBI clearly reflects the sincerity of UPA in puttT
What good a Lokpal body will achieve when the people it wants to investigate are the ones who control the investigation agency. It is a fact that no nation has been able to provide a corruption free society to it's citizens, but India it seems that is hell bent on claiming the title of the most corrupt nation in the world.

It is time for the citizens of this country to take an action and ensure that the corruption will no longer be tolerated. We should use the most important weapon that the constitution has given to us, i.e. the power to Vote. We should vote out all the corrupt leaders in all the elections whether local body or assembly or general. The time has come for the people to reclaim the control of this country.

Hinduphobic Hindustan

Image Courtesy Google A country that gained its independence from 200 years of oppressive foreign rule paid a huge cost for it. Just as the British were leaving, they drew their sword and divided this country into two, India and Pakistan. And the basis of this division was a demand for a separate Pakistan for the Muslims living in India. The day this partition was accepted by Indian National Congress and All India Muslim League, it was etched in stone that Pakistan would be a Muslim State, and India would be a Hindu State, albeit with Hindu and Muslim minority populations. Though Pakistan went on to become an Islamic State, India never even set foot on the path of becoming a Hindu Nation, in a way depriving Hindus of their right. Since our independence, the majority of our leaders have frowned upon being associated with the Hindu religion.   Our leaders wanted India to be a symbol of harmony in the world. They wanted to show the world that leadership in India does not discriminat...

The Importance of 'I'

When a child is born, he knows no relations. He is only concerned about his meals and his sleep. As he starts to grow up he is introduced to the relationships and then for most of us these relations become more important that even ourselves. God created only man and woman. It is us who gave a name to human interactions because of our need for companion. But the point right now or the questions in front of us are; whether we should keep relations ahead of ourselves? And whether we do justice to that relation by doing that?  Now let me elaborate on these questions. There comes a time in everyone's life when a relationship becomes so important that in order to keep it alive we are willing to sacrifice everything and sometimes the effort is reciprocated and sometimes it doesn't. We need to ask ourselves if all this effort is worth the try?  The answer is No. Because till the time I is not satisfied in a relationship it will never let We to evolve. I believe that the ...

Stop Making the Mockery of Martyrs

On the evening of 23rd March 1931, when The British government hanged Bhagat Singh along with Sukhdev and Raj Guru, they were merely 23 years old. With a smile on their lips and sparkle in his eyes, they kissed the noose and met their death as if they were meeting a long lost friend. At 23 when our youth are still confused about what they intend to do in their lives, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev inspired millions of Indians with their revolutionary ideas and the call for complete independence and laid down their life for his nation. But today after 70 years of India’s independence, can we stand up and tell those martyrs that we have created an India of his dream? That their martyrdom has not been wasted and India has achieved total independence, from oppression, from obsession, and imperialism. The answer sadly is NO. We have not only failed Bhagat Singh but we destroyed his dream and built a nation that is being destroyed by its citizens and leaders more than its enemies. Bhagat...
