An End To The Corruption

It seems that the dream to see a corruption free India would remain a dream, atleast till the time UPA is in the power or we can say till the time this country is being ruled by Gandhi Family. In her latest statement Mrs. Sonia Gandhi has stated that the nation will have to accept the government's draft on Lokpal and there will be no further compromise on the part of the UPA government. She has also described the government's version of Lokpal bill as a path breaking legislation. Is Lokpal Enough?

The Jan-Lokpal movement has hit the country like a tsunami, and the common man has thronged to support the movement in the numbers that may soon match the JP movement of 1974. After a long time, someone has decided to become the voice of the frustration rooted in the hearts of the common man of India. This is a chance for the public to show these politicians that we will no longer tolerate the corruption and the corrupt. But still, we need to ask ourselves if the Jan-Lokpal is enough to get rid of the cancer of corruption? The answer to this question is NO. Because corruption is only a part of the problem faced by our country and the public. I firmly believe that a poor, uneducated public divided into the lines of religion, caste, and sub-castes, will never be able to reap the benefits of an institute like Lokpal.
